Empower Success: $15,000

It's a little late, but at our PR meeting on Tuesday we found out that the estimated total raised by the 5K Run to Empower was $15,000! Thank you to all who helped the cause.

Empower also has created a new promotional video for your viewing pleasure.

Next on the agenda:

Empower is hoping to become a national organization. It has rapidly gained excitement this year, as other Ohio colleges are creating empower chapters at their own campuses. They are hoping to expand to other cities, and are also interested in high school involvement.

Already this year empower has grown enough that they have been backordered on jewelry; however, due to the amount of money raised by the 5k, the OU chapter will buy enough jewelry to hopefully cover the growing interest.
